Do you let your chickens out in the cold rain?

We have a little opening that leads from the (warm, dry, large) coop into the fenced chicken yard. The girls always choose to go out, even in a downpour. We have a mini coop in the chicken yard we use if we need to isolate someone. They usually pile up in there if it gets really nasty...but they don’t go into the big coop until it gets dark again

I'm going to try it. My husband is collecting materials for our farm and we should get a big delivery this Sunday.

it keeps the feed dry and the water cool, it shades the sun and keeps out the rain

It took ours a while to figure it out, but now they go under their run shelter if it's raining too hard for the bushes to provide enough cover.

My chickens free range all day, they have a covered coup and run they have access to at anytime. They usually don’t mind the rain or just hide in the bushes.

Of course they go out in rain if pouring they have access to shelter but my chickens enjoy foraging in light rain to eat all the crawlies in the dirt

If you are sneezing and chilling you dont like staying in lot of rain, do you?
My sweet giada doesn't agree..
I have to close the coop to take her in
