I enjoy shrimp, but only if it's thoroughly cooked and hot. I had a terrible embarrassing experience of trying cold shrimp at my grandparents 50th anniversary and throwing up in the garden.

Dang, no fun! Cocktail shrimp are not my favorite, they lack the flavor and texture that I love. Feels like slurping down a caterpillar. Sometimes I'll eat em, but usually not because I had a craving for them. Same thing with oysters.

It can be a bit of an acquired taste. Like raw oysters. Or Morrissey. Maybe closer to Morrissey. I'm not a fan.
