Great Horned Owls apparently make wonderful falconry birds. The problem is most hawk people hate the owl people because their hawks go crazy at the meets when the person shows up with an owl. LOL I chuckled when I heard about falconry drama!

I like them. I just keep a very solid cover on my poultry runs and the birds go in at dusk.

The owls are welcome to hang around as long as they catch their own supper and don't try to eat mine.

Owls are my totem bird. I have a collection of 50 or so owl figurines. I was an owl for Halloween.
