Do you made your chicken coop manually?

LOL My neighbor was more than willing to help because he has two lab mix dogs that have made it their life long goal to eat my chickens. I told him i was making it predator proof so i wouldn't have to shoot his dogs for killing my chickens. The dogs have tested my run to the max and still haven't gotten to them. And no i wouldn't have shot his dog but don't tell him. LOL.

ETA With the first coop "we" built together in 2000, the cost was around $1500. Since then, I don't keep track of the cost. I just try to build as efficiently and inexpensively as possible. I still get what I want and feel good with knowing it's done cheaper than it would have been done if I had had "help".

I build everything, I am a Carpenters daughter and raised on a farm. You either learn how to do it or it don't get done.

Woman can do almost anything a man can do. If you can read and learn you can do it.
I can cut trees down with a chainsaw and make them fall where I want them. But I'm getting a little old for that! the body tells me so

I taught my husand how to do it. It's his job now.
