Do you spell it Gray or Grey?

I have a reader's vocabulary, which means that grey and gray both show up. I also do color/colour and honor/honour.

And you don't want to hear me say Penelope or epitome when I'm tired.

Grey . . . it looks prettier. I also prefer theatre to theater. It's actually a pet peeve of mine, to see them spelled gray or theater. I cannot for the life of me figure out why it irritates me so much.

I was always told that GRAY is the American version and GREY is the French version....don't know if it's true, but I always spell it gray.

Me too on the gray. I use grey and seeing it spelled gray annoys me, even though I know it is equally correct.
