Do you think a raccoon could get into this?

I don’t know the gauge of the wire but it is pretty stout. I was going to put some fancy chicks in here and was just trying to be safe and ask around first. Thanks!

Chicken wire is specifically to keep chickens in ( depending on size... the babies will fly thru it) hardware cloth keeps predators out. I would be a nervous wreck if I had only chicken wire. While hardware cloth is more pricy you can feel the durability vrs the chicken wire. I wouldn't risk it anywhere because I've had predators in the city as well as the country. Just my opinion.

Thanks for all the responses everyone. While the walls are each 3 feet tall I’m not too afraid of anything being able to grab them through the wire. Especially after I just double layered it with the previously recommended Hardware cloth... the reason I asked was because the times I have had raccoon problems, I’ve found that they always try to find a gap in the ceiling of my main aviary. I’ve never had them try to chew through similar chicken wire like I had posted. However, I don’t doubt at all that they could chew through it if they wanted to.
