A breeder near me was going to"Hatch" me out some guinea keets I though, but when I saw him Friday he said he was going to order them and they'd be $4.00 each I was going to get 30, but then I decided on 20 but now I'm thinging 4 dollars each is just too much to pay. And I think I may call him and say I'll just wait to order ...

That's about what the hatcheries charge. Do you have an incubator? If you do, you should just buy some eggs either from someone here or someone on ebay and hatch out your own. It's alot cheaper that way in my opinion.

That's what I did. I have a nice flock of 16 guineas that I hatched out last year.

Good luck!

Thanks!

I do have an incubator, but it's very big and I've never tryed incubating anything in it yet, so I'd hate to order guinea eggs and then something go wrong!

So you don't think 4 bucks per keet is too much??? I really don't wonna spend 40 dollars for 10 keets!

Here in Colordo they get 8 bucks each at the feed store. 4 dollars is a pretty good price in my opinion. I wouldnt hatch a bunch of them for less than that.

As soon as the guinea that I have to my freind begin to lay we will hatch every thing they lay and I will be asking 6 for them.

What part of texas are you in? you can PM me if you don't want to post it here.

They go for around $6 here, so I don't think that's bad at all. Heck! I saw an add on the feed store bulletin board this morning asking $12 each for some that were born earlier this spring.
