Do young pullets lay consistently?

My EE Muttonchops started laying 2 weeks ago and so far has laid 11 eggs in 13 days. Isn't that a bit unusual?

My buff Orpington must have started at about the same time that yours did and I have gotten about the same amount of eggs!!!

That's about what I get from my young pullets also.

my GSL layed 16 days in a row. I have heard of others laying just a couple times a week. I guess we are more fortunate with hens that lay ALOT

Some of my pullets lay pretty consistantly and other don't at first when they start to lay. I think it just depends on the bird.

She lays a light blue-green egg. BUT today her sister Mac laid her first and it is a light olive green

Mine lay almost everyday. They will skip a day here and there and they are 25 weeks old.
