Doctor prescribed Tylan Solution WITH NO directions????

Did the poop test results come in yet to confirm worms?

I think the poop was sent out for culture and sensitivity testing which might allow the vet to switch to less antibiotics depending on what was found. Based on my limited knowledge, the hen is on three different antibiotics that should cover most things.

Well Raven doesn't exactly for sure need these antibiotics. She gave them because I was so insistent on doing everything I can to help her. But because of my picture and the parasite looking thing in the brown slush she wants to check herself ... We have no idea officially what the sickness is but we're hauling you know what to figure it out

Is she still eating enough? If not, ask the vet to show you how to tube feed.

Is this vet chicken savvy?
Ask if she is familiar with the chicken respiratory diseases and make sure you mention your last chicken's symptoms too.


I ask this because a lot of vets are clueless when it comes to chickens.

She is eating a little herself and I force her to eat. Really encouraging her to eat but I don't force it down her stomach so I don't technically force her to eat lol

1 teaspoon with as little water possible because she needs to have the full dose. That's why they didn't specify water
