I'm at work now. Just before I left, I saw 5 pips. 2 of those are in the Sportsman. Phoebe's baby is now in the brooder, with the Marans. I had to give DH a quick lesson on how to add water, for humidity. He's never done this before.

We had 54* weather yesterday. Now, we are suppose to get snow tonight ... like a few inches of it! YUK

After work last night (while waiting for pips), I went outside to the boat barn .... that's where the Halloween hatch chicks are ... and took tons of pictures. My, they are just growing so fast!

Now, come on babies! Cyn, I REALLY want those orps and Fern's baby, too!

DH just called ... we now have 3 Del babies hatched. He says there are 5 or more pips. One in the Sportsman ... YAY, my first one to ever hatch in the Sportsman! Of course, he is worried ... "Is it ok in there? Shouldn't I take it out?"

Ms. Ellie has a new chick, Ms. Phoebe has a new chick, and Mr. Isaac is a daddy again! <<< giggle>>>

Oh geez... another 4 hours before I get home ...

DH is soooo funny! He just called and said, "GeorgieBelle hatched, and EllieBelle is nearly out, too!"

I think he's having more fun without me! LOL Then, he said, "There's sure alot of cracks in those eggs in the Sportsman!" I am a novice, and he knows even less than I. Oh, but we are sure learning alot!

By the way, I took pictures last night ... Those crazy Dels were just all over me. I sat down and they climbed up on me. Two actually layed on my lap and slept. Ohhhh, I love those babies!

Here is my pretty mystery chick from Wynette's eggs. She came from an olive egg with a Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock daddy.

And this is one of the 2 SPPRs I have. I love their feathers ... gorgeous!

I made it home! We have 7 baby Dels totally out ...
1 Phoebe ...... (banded with pink)
1 GeorgieBelle ...... (banded with green)
2 EllieBelle ...... (banded with black)

1 Maxie and 1 (HUGE) Georgie still in the HovaBator with no action.

3 others hatched in the Sportsman and several Del pips, 1 zipping.
We also have a pip in Fern's and in Meg's. Nothing yet happening in the 4 BBS long narrow eggs.
Can you see Fern's dark egg pipped? And the far right one laying next to the carton has rolled (see the imprint) ... that is Meg's. The 2 little hoodlum's are in the near left side corner (see their bright yellow fuzz). This is minutes before # 3 came out here.
