I'm gonna go out and get some pictures of those Marans I hatched from you .. they DO look great!

They are growing like crazy! I love the Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks, too! I only have 2 of the 3 (one drowned in the water dish), and I think I got one of each sex! Mostly, at first, I wanted the Jersey Giants. Now, however, I find I like them all!

I got quite a variety from you ... and I love em all! They are all thriving!

You should see the mystery egg chick ... beautiful, AND .... it's a girl .... a BIG girl, at that!

I'm just a couple hours into Day 20 , on part two of this staggered hatch. So far, I don't see anything or hear anything. I'm hoping hatching in the Sportsman is gonna be good!

I think I got the humidity thing correct. I did have to use 2 of those sponge things (wicks?).... I think it is looking though!

But, I do need to take some updated photos! That mystery egg hatched into a beautiful (1/2 Rock and 1/2 Easter Egger) girl .... Looks like her daddy, the Rock. I love the penciling on her.

Yippee! Oh, Kathy, I can't remember if the Dels were in the main coop by that time or not. If so, there is an outside chance that one or two of the Del eggs are Isaac over some other girl in my flock, but a very minute chance since most have not been laying for ages. I got two eggs out of that coop today, both from my RIR girls. There are 17 layers in that main coop right now.
