I agree I use 2 drops for birds that are just a few pounds, for my larger hens and roosters I use 3 to 5 drops. It works really well for both external and internal parasites.

Use a 1ml/cc syringe. So whats the consensus on an alternative wormer?
I would use "Panacure" like Roostorf said above, but how in the world do you measure out 0.03ml ? I have no equipment that can make a measurement that small!
Is there any other all purpose wormer?
Yes. The pour on is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream and kills bloodsucking mites. It will kill chicken lice that feed off blood...like from a scratch or something of that nature. Chicken lice dont actually bite and suck blood like mites. Ivermectin wont kill lice that feed of the skin and feathers. I dont believe it affects shaft mites neither.Dawg, curiously, does it actually kills mite/lice in on poultry?
Interesting... I don't doubt you, 'cause I did try the injectable once, orally, and the bird still had lice the next day. What I think is interesting is that it does kill lice that horses get, but they aren't blood suckers. Just thinking out loud, lol.Yes. Quote: I dont know about horse lice, but I know cattle lice suck blood, maybe the same for horses...different species of lice....I dont know. I only know about chicken lice, I've dealt with them too. That's why I prefer sevin dust, cheap and very effective lol.
