Yup that's me.
I can have something "light" like a peach or apple early in the morning and it will just sit on my stomach for hours! It's like my stomach isn't awake enough to process food yet. I'm better off waiting a few hours before I eat anything. I do drink water in the morning though.
I also have the cooking thing too. By the time I am hungry and have time to cook (like get off work) cooking the meal seems to take up the last bits of my energy and when I'm done I'm just too tired to eat I guess. Perhaps my sugar has done a nosedive while waiting on it to get done, I dunno.
I try to compensate by eating a lot of snacks at work, but there's only so many non-messy things you can eat while on a pizza delivery and many of them are salty (chips, pretzels, nuts, beef jerky, etc.) or else really sweet (candy bars and such) and after a while none of that sounds appetizing. I crave good homecookin that my grandma used to make, but she was a stay at home homemaker type, ya know? Plenty of time for spending all day cooking. I remember it used to "annoy" me that she would ask me what I wanted for dinner as soon as we'd cleared the table from lunch, but now I understand.
By the time I'm off work it takes so long to make that kind of meal then I don't even feel like eating it! Bleh!
I've started buying frozen food so at least I will feel like eating before I go to bed, even if it's not really the GOOD food that I want.
