Does anyone else feel guilty eating chicken in front of your chickens?

My chooks love KFC popcorn chicken. It always freaks the drivethrough window employee out when I pull up with a live chicken sitting on the edge of the door.

I leave my blind open so I can see my BRs from the kitchen and we usually eat at the island in the kitchen. Second weekend they were there we got a barbque, I ordered chicken as usual. Sat down to eat, looked out the window, got up closed the blind. Son and hubbie were laughing like idiots. Getting a little better now, I just don't look out the window.

i did a little bit at first, but now...not really. I actually fed them some frozen (mushed up) chicken bone meal and they went ga-ga over it. and didn't feel the slightest bad. but at first I felt bad when feeding them boiled egg..then I get over it when I see how crazy they go for it.

I still feel guilty when I eat chicken... Lol, I just keep thinking that it could have been somebody's pet.
