I've heard of chickens laying green eggs, but I have never seen them- in real life or pictures.
Does anyone have chickens that lay green eggs? Please could you show a picture? I'd love to see.

Thank you so much!

Not a great picture but here is one with some of my brown eggs. It comes from one of my Easter Eggers.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I'm thinking of getting an EE in my new flock - does one bird lay the same color egg (if your EE lays a brown egg, that's the only color she'll ever lay?).

My two always lay green eggs. I think the answer to that is yes. There may a slight variation in shade from time to time but you're not going to get an EE that sometimes lays brown, sometimes green, sometimes pink, etc.

Yes, she will only lay one color egg. The depth of color may change a bit but the color remains the same. EE's can lay pink , lt brown ,white, blue, or green. Jean

Here are my blue, minty green and teal/turquoise eggs. A chicken lays the say color egg all her life, it can lighten in color though.
