Does anyone know if this bedding is okay for a brooder box ?

It doesn’t actually say on the package other than it’s softwood , I’d stupidly picked it up and bought it without even thinking just waiting to build a brooder now

Can you post a picture of what the material is? Like is it shavings, pellets, or something else? I'm guessing for "Softwood" its referring to shavings.

Pine is the best shaving type in my opinion (thats what I use for brooder and coop)

Just watch out for cedar, its toxic and can irritate a chickens throat.

That’s why I wanted to check obviously I’ll get the right thing I wouldn’t put a chick at risk I’ve attached a photo of the packet I have , I’ve looked all over and even on the website it jsit says softwood shavings

okay thank you for your help , I did see on one review for it someone said used in chicken coops but I wanted to be sure

Yep, it should work great for those fluff balls!
