Does anyone "talk" to their birds?

I see that I am mimicking their clucks, squaks, & cockadoodledoos...

when I go out to feed them or watch them...anyone else do this?

YAH DUDE! i always talk to Tiny, Pheonix, Daddy, Mexi, Snow, Ghost, Soda, Pop, Princess, hmm............... King, Silk, Chick, Chicky, Chickay, Chook, and..... Snowman!

all the time!! they are so chatty too. and not only do I mimic them i actually talk to them and tell them how my day was and ask them questions. my husband says i am like a weird cat lady only with chickens... he is probably right.

I talk to mine like I would a parakeet or inside bird, I call them to the fence, I say " hey pretty girl!" or Pretty baaby or pretty boy...and they usually all come running to the fence. They are my kids so I talk to them like so seeing I do not have kids. I threaten them too if they are fightin' LOL.

Guilty here too. I talk to them all the time. I thank them for my pretty eggs every time they give them to me.
