Does having 2 female quail together make them fight?

Hey, I have a young female quail right now and I keep her as a pet and also for her eggs. She is quite lonely though, so I want to get another female for her. I want to know if they're going to fight each other or become friends. Please help out.

they should hopefully not fight. its not normal for them to do so.

You might want to do introductions in neutral territory and rearrange your girls normal cage so she doesn't get territorial. Or you can have them side by side separated by wire that they can't get their heads through, or a piece of perspex and after a week they should be firm friends.

And I got her friend! I followed your instructions and within 1 hour, they are extremely friendly to each other! Her friend is only about 3 weeks old and she is 2 months so they are getting along extremely well. Thanks a lot dude.
