Does my 2 month old lavender orpington look like a roo?

#2 is female. No doubt of that.
There is no reason why #1 should not be female as well. Could be a slow cockerel, but I would doubt it.

I will definitely be keeping an eye and ear out. I haven’t had Orpington before to know how fast or slow their combs grow. Thank you

I have a 9 week old lavender oprington that I bought as a sexed female chick from a hatchery. Does she look like a roo? She's larger than my salmon faverolle and of course the two bantams, but I don't have another orpington to compare her to. She just seems big to me and I've wondered about her little wattles developing. Do you think she could be a rooster? In the second picture, she had just fluffed up her feathers, so she does look a little larger than she actually is in that picture.

What was the outcome? I’m in a similar situation with a 9 week lavender… also hatchery chick.
