Exactly. Plus, saying ĪšĪ±Ī»Ī±Ī¼Ī¬Ļ„Ī± olives are the best sort of doesn't make sense. Because ĪšĪ±Ī»Ī±Ī¼Ī¬Ļ„Ī± olives are good, but say Ī ĻĻĪ³ĪæĻ‚ olives aren't? They're both in the Peloponnese
I don’t speak Greek, and I’m too lazy to use Google translate šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« Here in the states they mainly sell green olives, black ones, and kalamata. Out of those three, kalamata are the best.

ĪšĪ±Ī»Ī±Ī¼Ī¬Ļ„Ī± (Kalamata) is a city, so ĪšĪ±Ī»Ī±Ī¼Ī¬Ļ„Ī± olives aren't a type of olive, just olives grown near ĪšĪ±Ī»Ī±Ī¼Ī¬Ļ„Ī±. So basically, you just eat Greek olives because I doubt any other olive frown somewhere else in the Peloponnese tastes any different

I like many olives from Greece to southern California grown. I can seldom resist buying three or four varieties when I shop olives. Olive oils are essential to me in my kitchen. I have no known Mediterranean heritage. I just share a love for olives like many of the cultures from there. Olives grace many of my pizzas!
