And my birthday just happens to be in Oct too

My wife does not like tomatoes cooked in anyway but fresh in season local grown and does not eat much pizza because she does not like tomato sauce very much.
I don't eat pizza with tomato sauce either, because of overreacting (histamines). A little fresh tomato is no problem. But too much or concentrated tomato is.

At home I use white cheese on top of the dough and put the topping on the white cheese. I use a cheese creme or mozzarella.
In the restaurant I ask if they can serve white pizza.
The canned pineapple is a problem too. Never tried fresh pineapple. But I don't mind eating white pizza with safe veggies like grilled zucchini and eggplant 🍆

Not my favorite but, I like a few anchovies on a good pizza sometimes. I like most everything healthy and unhealthy that people eat. Fresh quality ingredients and cooked with love and I usually like it. I do have some favorites judging by my trends in eating. Though I may love a good Focaccia I prefer thin crust pizzas light and crisp with a wide variety of toppings! Thin sliced salami rises to the top as does good pork barbeque, peppers and onions, buffalo mozzarella, Parmesan Reggiano, fresh thin sliced tomatoes a bit of homemade sauce and fresh basil, served with olives and Greek salad peppers. Any or all of that on my pizza would be common. Hamburger and southern style country sausage would be on the top of my list, as well. But I am open to just about anything, once. I surprise myself by how much I like things, sometimes, that I did not think I would. My wife is a picky eater by comparison to me. But she will eat more junk food and low quality processed foods than I will tolerate. We all are different, Viva la Difference!
