(But wait... what's wrong with onions? 😭)
Dislike their taste.

I love a traditional Italian pizza as well as many great variations I have tried! The original pizza's may be considered to be from central America where tomatoes originated and were made into salsa and served on tortillas with fresh cheese and herbs, a tostada style. I like a good traditional bread crust, but also , zucchini crust, a nan bread trust, tortilla crust and more. the sauces can be even more varied and sometimes ,taste treats. I likely would not enjoy a Brussel sprout pizza, but some may and who knows? prepared the right way! French bread pizza on a homemade sour dough baguette, with olive oil, tomatoes or sauce, onions, peppers and cheese makes a favorite snack around here, sometimes adorned with a wide variety of meats, including anchovies, carnitas, barbeque, grilled chicken or salami! I am not a food snob. I like a wide variety of cuisines or crude rustic basics. My wife does not like tomatoes cooked in anyway but fresh in season local grown and does not eat much pizza because she does not like tomato sauce very much. Still, she loves a Traditional style pizza on my sour dough crust from a true Italian starter from Camaldoli, with good olive oil, fresh basil , sliced tomato , buffalo Mozzarella and a pinch of cayenne flakes , no sauce. We all like different things and that is OK! Pineapple goes great with pork and spices and lends itself to great food experiences and I like a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. Not my favorite but delicious and Ok for me, occasionally. I have not had too many pizzas, with well made crust and sauce , I did not like! Bon appetite!
