Does the brown membrane look ok?

Honestly it looked normal to me. If yolk is leaking out that means it wasn't really even ready to come out and still isn't. Since it is leaking that means the yolk sack is broken which is incredibly dangerous for the chick.

Well what do I do???!!! All I did was wet it a little and it pushed through more on its own
Read the post again. It was edited XD forgot to add the last part. I didn't see the yolk you saw in the pic honestly.

Is this your first time incubating eggs?

The most important thing on hatching day would be to sit on your hands and not intervene. ;)
Yes it is my first time. All I did what wet the membrane some. It pushed really hard after that and now the yolk is leaking

I am not sure. I don’t really know what a lot is. It faintly got all over the paper towel. It is still moving and chirping like crazy trying to get out!
If the yolk is leaking it isn't ready. Leave it in the rest of the egg and put it in a cup to try and keep it from getting all the way out. Be warned, the chick may not live. The yolk sack holds it's vital organs until it starts absorbing it. If it's mostly absorbed it should be fine.

Ok that is actually what I did. The cup thing. So I just don’t understand it literally just now almost broke completely out. On its own. This little duckling is strong. If he was still absorbing… why would he be fighting so hard to get out? I am sitting here watching him as I type this and he just has not stopped.

Instinct.

If left alone, they fall to sleep in between their attempts to girate in the egg, which gives them more time to absorb the egg yolk and regain some strength for the next phase.
When you mess with the egg, they get stressed and will try and try to get out, leaving them without the important rest to properly absorb the egg yolk.
