Does the brown membrane look ok?

What will his name be, Primus?
That’s a good name but I think I am going to call him/it Pippin. Lol is there a way to tell if they are boy or girl before there feathers come in? Just wondering. I’m not going to go trying to figure it out now or anything. But I figured a good gender neutral name will work since I don’t know. He has a brother/sister that should be hatching within the next few days. They weren’t set at exactly the same time. It’s in a different incubator

Also he is already obsessed with me. He keeps trying to climb out of the incubator when he sees me. It’s so cute!!!!!!!!!!!

They imprint quickly, and if Pippin is a single duckling for some days, you should give him some stuffed fluffy toy to cuddle up with or s/he will get anxious due to feeling lonely.

Yes I actually have some rubber ducky’s and small toys of my little boys I was going to put in the brooder with him. I will get some stuffed animals too!!

So far he has no interest in eating or drinking. He just wants to be held and sleep. When should they actually start eating and drinking?
