Does the brown membrane look ok?

Alright so I helped it a little and now it has its foot out. But it’s yolk is sorta leaking out a little. I’m a little worried. It’s trying really hard
If left alone, they fall to sleep in between their attempts to girate in the egg, which gives them more time to absorb the egg yolk and regain some strength for the next phase.
When you mess with the egg, they get stressed and will try and try to get out, leaving them without the important rest to properly absorb the egg yolk.
Alright here is a picture of how much yolk it lost.

And here it’s is now. It did all the hatching on its own. It is now resting I think. I hope anyway.

alright my baby duck is completely hatched out and doing good. It looks like most of the yolk was absorbed. He is working on trying to walk. It’s so cute!!! I will say it looks like there is a spot on his beak that is sore or broken or something. I am going to try to get a pic.

Also he is very sticky and has crunchy like fuzz. Almost like dried gel.

As it seems, there was still some amount of albumen left which is now drying on the feathers. I the picture you posted about the "egg yolk", it seems rather surplus albumen to me.

Your duckling will soon preen it all off and if not, tomorrow you can use a soft brand new tooth brush to gently get it off.

Not sure if you can see. It’s on the right side of his beak. Closer to his face
