I know nothing about peacocks, and am not entirely sure that what I read above was English. But I have to comment, those are some stunning birds you have!

Unless you do some serious selective breeding for many years you're not going to get spaldings that look like that with any consistency.

I would agree just saying if you wanted a spalding that bred true (to itself) you'd have to do some pretty heavy handed backcrossing and line breeding to get them to hatch birds that looked consistently like the "blue" spalding.
