I should be able to demonstrate with camera that dog is barking is just outside sheep enclosure a lot after dark. Emphasis will be on that. Trapping dog will be tough, it is a very large dog. Now I am enticing the dog with the sheep and goat. The dog(s) come over a lot more at night now that I have those animals.

Yes, that’s what I was trying to say. I wouldn’t put anything past the neighbor at this point.
Regardless of how dog is to be confined, I suspect the neighbors will come across property line to get dog freed. That is where things are likely to get messy. Sheriff deputy takes at least 30 minutes to get to my place. I can work on getting pictures of trespass at that time. This would be so much easier if dog owners were not next door neighbors

A trap suitable for catching the dog is going to cost a lot more than the camera. Dog weighs at least 140 lbs.
Depending on how many fences and what size pens you have, you might be able to just leave one pen open & empty, wait for the dog to go in, and close the gate. Or attach a piece of wire fencing at the top only, so the dog can push its way in and then the fencing falls shut behind and the dog is trapped.

Of course a trap would let you put trap + dog in the car and take it somewhere (like the sheriff's office), while trapping it inside a fence would not.

Hmm. Thinking along @NatJ's suggestions... How feasible would it be to put a goat in a crate in a corral, and rig something like NatJ suggests so when dog enters corral, gate shuts behind dog and encloses it? Essentially a very large live trap. Probably a lot of hassle, but maybe do-able? 🤔
