Relative to camera. Most people around us got about 8" of snow. We got a solid foot.

My dogs wait as out only as one or two at a time. Currently, two of three are in heat, and remaining dog I do not want to engage superior numbers. She tried that at least once and got pushed back almost to house. We have a LGD pup coming up in the wings but she will not be ready for better than another year. The pup will be neutered.

Wish my chickens were as enthusiastic about snow as dogs are!

Chickens cannot walk in snow that deep. My game chickens prefer to literally fly from place to place over walking snow that deep.

She is mother to females Flo (brindle) and Pup Pup (black and tan). Both currently in heat although Pup Pup is almost clear.

Different approach now being used. Time stamped images were sent via Facebook to dog's owner. By that time he had dog penned back up. He will come to know I quickly I detect their visits.

Understood. Earlier today we went out and shoveled a smooth spot to spread their scratch, just to get them out of the coop. They were huddled inside in the dark like they were hiding from the zombie apocalypse and wouldn't come out till spring of 2028, lol. It wasn't even very deep yet.
