I find it wrong. I never ask to pet a SD or AD as i know they have a job.People keep touching Fanta with out asking! it is getting extremely frustrating since people are one of the things she struggles with.I have had multiple people tell me while trying to touch her or after I told them not to touch her that they know someone with a assistance dog! you would think they would know better then
I can not think of what I could add to make it anymore obvious that they shouldnāt be touching her or what could make her look less friendly, any ideas?
this was the best picture of her in her gear I could find, she also has a large collar on with in training patches on it

At some point she will be changing to a different harness
If i could have one for my medical issues i would, but Denver and Tucker alert me at home or when they are with me so its better.
But still you never pet a dog working.
Some people dont understand.

) , If you saying hello to the dog would mess their training up then the handler can say no. Some AD handlers do dislike like being asked but I think if you are in a public place then you should have no issue with people asking you questions politely, though a lot of people are not polite!
