Oh now I have to share this story! We were having a BBQ, and we were making a lettuce salad to go with it, and of course we threw some bad pieces in the trash. We'll, as we were about to eat our BBQ chicken, we noticed that one of the chicken breasts was slightly raw. So that went in the trash as well. Important detail, the breast was on top of everything else in the trash. Then we went for a small walk around the property, and left Buddy in the house. When we returned, we heard some ruffling in the trash. Then we saw Buddy with the lettuce piece in his mouth. Not the chicken, the lettuce that was buried beneath

I was giving one of the rabbits his cabbage once. Fanta leant round the corner of the hutch and grabbed some of the cabbage from right in front of the poor rabbit

Wow, y'all have some healthy dogs. You couldn't do anything to get our current two or our old two dogs to eat veggies like that. I fostered a pit mix puppy who probably would have, but not our two.

What word does everyone use for recall?

trying to think of a good word because, their name, “here“ or “come“ aren’t working, I keep accidentally saying them

Ummm....... Buddy has terrible recall. I don't even try anymore. If I really want him to come I just say "food"

This is specifically for dobies, but I'm sure it will work for other dogs. I don't remember what word he used, though.
