Which one?
Corgie, but I'm not hurt. It takes an inhumane amount of patience to not let them win!

They are obstinant and stubborn, even with professional training. Maggie is good 95% of the time now though. The trouble with her is our own self-made problem as we take them to various county/state forests where we're alone and let them run. The vast majority of times, they both stay near or within calling distance, but if she finds a rabbit, she's gone. You can yell until you're blue in the face, and she won't come. Starting the truck is the only way. So we hike back to the truck, start it, rev it up, and there she comes. Josie, the border collie, comes no matter what she's doing.

Anyone have dachshund? I always wanted another but the back problems scare me. We had a mini we took in from my ex sister-in-law decades ago before I knew anything about that kind of stuff.

My son breeds the mini ones. They've got five I believe they've kept for years and a benign lump, very large, was all one ever had wrong with them.

Your funny meme reminded me of this :lau

I was considering a corgi but after reading more experiences on them I think I will stick to aussies. They basically are glued to your side. Sounds like corgi like to think for themselves more than Australian shepherds.

Yes, so many unnecessary ingredients in most dog treats. That's why the only treats I buy are freeze-dried meat/liver.
My sister, who has a bunch of terriers, got me on to these beef esophoguses which winds up being these two dog's favorites. Most they won't even touch. We're on our 2nd package. Kind of pricey so only one a day if even that.

Corgis are a wonderful breed. And one ive considered. Although any dog i have needs a reliable recall.
