It is a little ironic that you don't want your type of dog to be shamed (because first off, we're not shaming, we're saying it's extremely harmful to call bully mixes pitbulls, and second, we are not shaming your dogs) while you quite literally shamed all small dogs, for something they were not bred to do

There is nothing wrong with liking protective dogs, I love them! But you don’t need to put down smaller dogs its your attitude I have issue with more then what you said

Not the same at all. Yours aren’t pure so they don’t just magically become one by acting or looking like one. Which they don’t even look like one since true APBT are lean built dogs. If anything they look more American Bully or Am Staff.

Not to mention, most “protective” dogs are really just fearful and hoping the scary bad guy goes away. Not very many are actually protective.

Get a doberman. Problem solved. Dobies aren't just fearful and they do want to protect. But they've also got that innate sense of who's good and who's not. Believe me, I've experienced it.

I mean, I can see that, but as long as someone has an accurate understanding of pits, I don't know that there's any harm in saying pitbull if you mean pitbull mix. IMHO.

I think a lot of the people on here are pretty sensitive (and not necessarily in a bad way) to a lot of the misinformation out there. I'm one of them, but I do know you a bit better, so I know whatcha mean, whereas I don't think they do. I doubt anyone was mad about it, just concerned.
