Pros and cons of Pitpat activity tracker so far

cons
-it needs batteries (apparently they last a year)
-attached by velcro to collar/harness
-it doesn’t track sleep( it does track when the dog is resting)
-it doesn’t automatically update the app, you have to place the tracker quite close and push the button on both the tracker and app
-only comes in one colour
-doesn’t tell you where your dog has been

pros
-no subscription
-the battery does mean you don’t need to remember to charge it
-doesn’t us up phone batter, etc to update the app, until you press the buttons
-gives you more information then other trackers. Amount of time active, how much was spent running, playing or walking. How much time spent resting and standing around. How many miles your dog has walked
-has a spot to keep track of dogs weight

there is a optional subscription that gives you a yearly free velcro strip, replacement battery (don’t know how frequently), replacement tracker if broken or lost, weird online vet service (only 3 times a year) and you can see the dog leaderboard

Hello! I/My family has 3 dogs. They are all second generation labradoodles (or so the breeders said); And they are 4 years old and littermates. I know it’s not good to have labradoodles but my parents never did a lot of research and my brother is allergic to dog fur. In the beginning they were going to be search and rescue dogs, but my dad never actually ended up training them to do that, so now they aren’t. Nero (Named by my mom) is the biggest (I think it was around 40 lbs), and my choice in the litter of the puppies. He is a chocolate phantom tricolor and he has the curliest fur out of the three, he is also the smartest (and most poodley). Jax (Named by my mom) is second biggest (around 30 lbs) and he is apricot and has straight slightly wavy fur. He was my parents choice. And the smallest is Smol Bean (named by my sister) my sisters choice. She’s around 20 lbs and is blue merle (evidence of the breeders lying about their lineage) and has wavy kind of messy fur. The vet has also said that shes missing I think it was 2-4 teeth (as in will never grow). And she was the runt of the litter. Jax is dumb, but cute dumb and goofy. Bean is smartish but she barks/whines unnecessarily too much and will sit in your lap and hit your phone down. They all like getting their ears pulled. Nero likes butt scratches, bean likes belly rubs, and Jax just likes to be pet. Bean jumps on people too much, Nero doesn’t like being on his back, and it is very awkward to pick him up. Bean I can pick up easily and same for Jax except he is a wiggly worm. Jax is very energetic and bean is in the middle but always play biting the other 2. Nero is calmer, but he still likes to play. Jax likes toys and food a lot and on rare times he’ll get food/toy aggressive. Nero’s nickname is Neeeewwwwooooooooo (half of the time to get his attention, Jax’s is Jackie Chan (what we normally call him since it gets his attention), and Smol Bean’s is Bean (sometimes, Bean Bean (most of the time), or Beanie (sometimes). Bean also growls sometimes when the others want her toy but she’s never actually fought like Jax has before. They’ve also never been properly socialized so they always bark at people they don’t know (they’d never bite though) and jump up on them. Or if they hear a knock they bark a lot. I think they’ve also killed 2 chickens so far because they were let outside at the same time as them. Because they think they’re toys or another animal to play with so they try to play with them but their kind of playing rips out their tail feathers and the attached skin which ends up killing then after a few days. We never let them near each other. Except like once when they were smaller than them. My parents don’t want to pay the extra money for a good groomer so we go to a bad cheap one. They ask for their bodies short, and tails and faces long so it gets less dirty, but the groomer does it really poorly. Nero has also grown in some wiry white hair on his back for a few years now, I think they all have it but you can’t really see it on the other 2. The pictures in each group are in chronological order.
