His growth plates arenāt closed yet so I would decrease his exercises, 3 hours of strenuous exercise is a lot for his age. I donāt know what ages it safe to start jumping dogs at but I wouldnāt do it daily at his age. You could try doing hoopers which is similar to agility but doesnāt have any jumps, it might help with the basics of agility and give him both mental and physical exercise while being safer to do more frequentlyHe turned a year old on November.
I have tried a day of almost no exercise(the day it was to cold to be outside), he was constantly up, but did sleep a bit more. He is crate trained i just put him in there and he is sleeping.
He also did super well at the jumps. He is jumping 12 in no problem. I didnt push it any higher, maybe thats why he is sleeping
he might not know how to calm down (what some people call not having an off switch) so it might be good to make sure he has regular forced rest time, which will help him start regulating his energy
and definitely talk to his vet about it!
