Dog thread!🐾

While at the vets today someone had a smaller standard poodle. She let me pet it. The coat felt like a pillow. I think a small standard poodle just went on my short list for next dog. :love I've love standard poodles since the 80's when I worked at a boarding kennel and got to interact with a few. All were males. This was a female and I think I could handle the size. :yesss:

The coats do feel like pillows.
Females are definitely smaller than males that i have met

Does Gypsy look to be a healthy weight? She weighs 20.2 lbs but you can't really feel her ribs.

Different dogs can handle different weights. Molossoid breeds can be a bit more "chunky". I agree with Stinky, she could probably lose just a tad. But if she's happy in that weight :idunno
