Thanks! I wish he didn't have to wear it so much tho.
But he's a bit of a rescue and badly underweight so I'm trying to make sure he's never cold and also he's been having trouble with getting sunburnt
Does anyone else here have a dog that burns? I've had a few people suggest I get him doggy sunscreen but I have NO idea what I'm looking at/for.

People do use doggy sunscreen for hairless breeds. Yours still has hair? Just real thin? Have you checked his thyroid function?

Very thin and patchy in places. He had bloodwork done a few weeks back, off the top of my head I don't remember what exact but the vet only mentioned him being anemic. I fully trust my vet so if she was concerned about anything else I know she would've told me

Did they know why he is anemic? That's one of the signs of tick disease here. Do you have that there?

My vet gives me ear drops I need to use for 2-3 weeks. Otherwise there's Adams ear mite treatment that I've used on my cats because I can't always remember to keep up other drops.

I just assume it's lack of proper care.
He is honestly a "otherwise healthy" dog. His behaviour is fine, he just looks a little rough. The main goal has been get him on a good diet and get his weight back.
There's no ticks where I live, where he came from, potentially I don't know, I doubt he got away from his home much if ever so he would have had to pick one up in a backyard which seems a little unlikely to me.

Poor guy. I'm glad you are helping to get him healthy. So sad when people neglect a dog.
