Update on Luna's tooth extraction: the vet said the surgery went well and her teeth were very clean. I was afraid she would be in obvious pain for days afterwards and not want to eat and have blood in her saliva, etc...but there was none of that! Instead, she was back to her old self in a day and she is noticeably happier and more playful now. Such a relief and totally worth it.

Tip for moving a stubbornly planted dog: Don't pull back, pull sideways! Grabbing a collar or leash and pulling backwards allows the dog to stay planted. Pulling sideways throws their balance off and makes them shift their feet ... instant "uproot!"
