She's getting pretty good at ignoring people unless I tell her to say hi. We heeled in-between lots of people in tight spaces today and she either ignores them or is easy to correct with a leave it. Even when they talk to her. I'm really happy with this, when she was young she was a bit people obsessed

I think her biggest trigger is other dogs, not when they ignore her, shes fine just being around dogs and stuff but other dogs going towards her or staring at her makes her want to go greet them. She won't go nuts or try to pull me but she'd walk away if I let her. I'm going to try to go to more places with dogs then and work on her there.

Do you make her sit to be petted? What breed is she?

Do you make her sit to be petted?

yes, or at least i try to at much as possible. Sometimes people ignore me when I tell them she has to sit to be petted. I especially hate the people that encourage her to jump....but lately we've been more consistent with it and she's getting better. She's only particularly bad with people she already knows. I wish I'd started the sit for pets from the beginning

She is making so much progress she is twoish right?

2 years 3 months. I saw significant behavior change at 18 months honestly, since then I'd say she's matured a bit more but not too much.

At the pet store the other week, she started to jump and I corrected her and the lady was like "oh no let her she's giving me a hug!" I told her no obviously that willow is in training and then she acted like I was some evil strict mother
