I did introduce willow to our new goats a bit this evening

Most of the apartments and houses for rent here don't have breed restrictions but they have weight restrictions. Which obviously is a problem for me with my 87 lbs dog lol

Thank you for this! This is the kind of (pardon me!) Bone-headed thing I do from time to time but my excuses are 1. Age (I'm 72) and 2. Long Covid? What's your excuse, young'un?

I’m just not happy with my current living situation and wanna get a new place when I can. For those that don’t know, I am unable to keep chase with me now. He is staying with my parents. My chickens too but I’ll be able to get an apartment in not too long!

Luckily though he is a golden so I don’t have to worry about any breed restrictions. Even though he is more of a liability than a lot of those “bad breeds” it’s stupid

Oh no! My family's first dog had a persistent hock issue. Only thing to do was strictly leash walk her for several months, but that for sure didn't happen. :S

Yeah, I'm keen to take him on a short, slow plod while I throw the ball for my other dog. She loves to swim as well and it's a beaut day out.

How did things go for your dog - did it get worse?It's been over a year since his last vet visit; he's had weak hind legs since the beginning and I've spent loads of time building them up. he's not as bad today after the two injections yesterday. The vet gave him Meloxicam 1.5 and I'm thinking of getting him a Balto brace. I don't want the cost of a surgery, nor am I up for all the aftercare that would be required.
