Our dogs are kept separated from our chickens and the chickens aren’t interested in the dogs at all.
I was most worried about our barncat as he is quite the bird catcher. I lost track of how many quail he has gotten. But the chickens are big enough that he doesn’t bother them. They will pester him however. He will hang out with them in the shade often in the trees or near their coop. If he happens to lay down they will try to pick the dirt from his fur....which he doesn’t appreciate in the least.
