Doin' the "egg squat"

I am so excited!! My black bantam cochin just did the egg squat for me this evening!!! she will be 20 weeks old on Wednesday, so I guess we are right on!! I reached over to pet her, and she squatted low with her wings out, I squealed with delight! My hubby thought I had found an egg. I am just excited to see some evidence that it is close.

About 5 out of 9 hens of ours have been doin' the egg squat for a week and a half now and still no eggs!

The wait is killin' me!

Hopefully yours won't take as long as mine are!
