Heck this hen honks or protests. I keep telling her I dont understand chicken girl talk. I would love to know whats up with her.....
Couple of the oldest two girls, been whezing and occ sneezing for quite a few months...
I think ash dust did it to them from dustbathing....before I knew better... ....or the outdoor woodburner bothers them
The whole thing HEALTH book about biology is over my head.... but I hate MEDICINES.... but I think they need worming again..
they are in mulch, etc and piles of leaves etc everyday.... they hang around their big fence before dark so they can run and get into other dirt piles ec.in the rest of the property.... the spoiled brats are NOT satisfied with 1/2 acre field.
If my garden ,with raised beds and strawed paths ,werent fenced in,they would destroy that....

I did note on the wet mount of the frothy cecal poop that while I couldn't identify anything, it looked like some things were swimming around.

Next time do you think you could take poo pictures? Might be useful to have corresponding poo pictures.

I mention poo pictures, cause this poo is on a website as "normal", but the feed store I go to had six peachicks with poop like this. Of those six, three died, so I stole their bodies and sent them to UC Davis for necropsy. Necropsy found *severe* coccidiosis in all three.

The camera I got came with the driver on a CD, my laptop does not have a CD reader, so I have to figure out how to download the driver off the net.

I am sure once I get that loaded I will be using it a LOT!
