Quote:
1) I keep approximately 12 breeders representing one line and my flock size is expected to expand to about 75 birds during growing season.

2) Used for meat, eggs and show.

3) Initial source from a single source: breeder for show/production. Subsequent replacement will be from incubator hatches only.

4 My brood stock is cooped and production stock is free-range starting approximately 16 weeks post-hatch.

1) just under 2 dozen full time, numbers vary with hatching season
2) eggs, but have done some showing to ensure correct size and type
3) Mark Fields, Jack Bloomer, Cackle Hatchery pullets, Fred Farthing
4) Breeders are penned for no more than 45 days, otherwise free range

Hi AbedsAviary, i have 2 hens that look like your hens ( plus more) I am trying to work on the hens combs. I dont like the 2 because of their "sliver" combs as i call them. I am going to have to work on that.

Unless you dubed them which I dont think you did.
