Dominique Thread!

So far so good!

Here is to hoping he keeps going in the same direction!
I like him. He's awful cute, no matter what quality he ends up being.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep him, as I have way too many roosters already, but I'm certainly going to try. Dominiques seem like a nice fit for my climate.

I wasn't planning on growing out anything but Chanteclers... But plans change, y'know.

I am pretty sure that Doms lay better than Chanteclers :)
The cockerels don't.

Hello. I am looking for some well bred Dominiques for our farm. Looking for decent production as well as good type. Something better than hatchery stock to get my daughter and I a good start for showing and breeding. If you all could point me in a direction I would appreciate it.
I have some of this years birds if you are interested, located in Hanover. PM me John.

DD was playing with my camera the other day & took some fun pics of Bubbles.

This pic wasn't as nice due to a photo-bombing orp, but it does show her Dom U-shaped back. (Bubbles doesn't often stand still. She's usually off scratching around or "in your face" begging for treats, so a clear pic is a challenge.
