So far his temperament is very good. Compared to some of the other breeds I've had (particularly SFH) he was pretty late to do everything "manly" . I'm keeping an eye on him to see how he develops over the next few months. He was a June hatch so not a year old.

Nice rooster, but I see he has the same problem most of mine have...too large of wattles.

A young Dominique cockerel with great type gets on champion row at the Ohio National with Reserve American in a class of 299.

Yep, that’s what I said.. nice rooster.. too bad the wattle is not smaller....

I do find that interesting (and a bit of a bummer) that a nice tight comb is not connected (clearly totally different genes) from nice tight wattles.

Hard to get both on the same bird, just too many points to select for!
