I was reading that Roos have 3 rows on their comb and a pulley only has 1 if this is true I'm guessing she's a he lol Bc if I can get a good picture of her comb I'll post it but there is definitely a defined 3 rows haha
The chickens were let out today, and I got more pictures of the mystery chicken (approx. 8 weeks old). The last picture shows it by a lavender ameraucauna to help judge size (about the same age, the ameraucauna may be 1 week older). The tail slopes downward and has dark feathers (like the back of the head) bracketing the other tail feathers. These darker feathers are about 1/2 inch longer then the rest of the tail feathers. I should have clarified the question...it is the breed we are wondering about. However, thanks for confirming what we suspected on the gender.Looks like a pullet.
