I'm not sure. This little one is in with 5 D'Anvers and a pheasant and I was lead to believe it was a male of some variety.Female, has she laid any eggs yet?

PulletsI'm hoping both these are pullets but one of them went toe to toe with my pug this morning (the pugs are trained to leave the chickens alone and I was right there so watched the whole thing) - the chick got all defensive and aggressively began guarding the others. Makes me a little nervous that what I thought was a she may be a he.
Brown leghorn henCan anyone tell me anything about this ?

Since there is some brown showing now, I'd expect brown in the adult plumage but yes, a mostly black chick becomes a mostly black chicken. So will they stay black as they mature?
Yes please help! I have a chicken that I am not sure is a rooster or a hen. I order blue Favaucana a from My Pet chicken and order 1 rooster. Unfortunately the mail lady put them under a fan to keep them cool so all chicks died except 3 of the 15. my pet chicken was great about it and replaced my favacaunas with hens but the one that survived I can't tell if a rooster or not. I thought it was a hen but it is acting very aggressively towards the females. Chasing them and grabbing them an dplixking out feathers. They were all raised together, same age. They are about 4 months old now but not crowing but it looks different than the other favacaunas. I will try to post a pic. I am getting worried about the aggressiveness.Don't know the breed or gender of your chicks? Post here! I can help!
