Hello! I hatched these chicks with a broody hen and eggs from a woman with a huge flock of various breeds. The chicks are not purebred. I'd love to know what gender they are (I have my suspicions). They are 6 weeks old.

1) this one is probably an Isbar mix

2) my friendliest bird. I'm hoping against all odds that this is a hen. I realize the changes are slim.

3) possible partridge rock mix

4) no idea about this one. She seems to be getting a beard, however.

1 and 3 are your only pullets. The rest have too much development/red in the combs.
 
9 week old Dominiques ....I am convinced this one is a rooster .... any thoughts ???

Definitely a cockerel.

Yea ...I have talked to the guys at the store about returning him to rehome
They keep telling me to wait until he crows to know for sure ... I'm a first time chicken owner but I have been convinced for 2 weeks ... ok back he goes today !!!
