double eggs double the pleasure LOL

Hey guys we had a hen that popped two eggs in one setting. Our turkey does this often. This is the first for one of our hens. Any one else has a hen that has done this. I'm sure there is, but I just thought this was amazing since this was the first for ours.

Hey guys we had a hen that popped two eggs in one setting. Our turkey does this often. This is the first for one of our hens. Any one else has a hen that has done this. I'm sure there is, but I just thought this was amazing since this was the first for ours.

I have only had 1 hen lay two eggs during a 24 hour period, she was roosting at night and laid two eggs presumably while sleeping/roosting, both soft shelled but otherwise fully developed eggs. I have had other chickens lay double yolk eggs and that seems far more common than 2 complete and separate eggs.
