My quad of DLS Barnevelders that I bought a few months ago are almost 19 weeks.. when should I be able to tell if they are cockerels or pullets? At what point/age do you cull for lacing? This breed is completely new for me. I know that with other laced breeds the older they are, the crisper their lacing gets as they molt. I didn't know if it was the same or not?

I am almost thinking all males :( the curved take feathers & metalic green tinge are looking roo like to me.
But I would also think that the combs/wattles would be fully out & deepred at this point.

I hope you get more thoughts on this!

I have Double Laced Brown Barnevelders, and they are all pullets. My girls's tails took forever to come in, they're around 25 weeks and still have stubs for tails. I would guess roosters, based on the length and volume of tails alone.
